A therapeutic coaching session is designed to be a supportive and empowering environment that helps clients achieve personal growth and address specific challenges.

When online both the client and the coach need to allow access to camera and microphone and sit comfortable in a quiet room. The coach and client sit in a way that facilitates easy eye contact and open body language, making the space feel more collaborative.

The session begins with a brief check-in. This helps set the tone for the session and focuses the conversation.


The client and coach collaboratively outline the goals for the session, identifying specific areas the client wants to work on or challenges they're facing.


Using a variety of techniques, such as questioning, active listening, and sometimes exercises or activities, the coach helps the client explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to the session's goals.


The coach and client work together to identify strategies or actions the client can take to address their challenges or move towards their goals. This often includes discussing potential obstacles and how to overcome them.


The session concludes with a summary of key insights and action steps, and the coach may provide encouragement or affirmations to support the client's progress. The coach also checks in with the client about how they're feeling about the session and the plan moving forward.

Ethics and Confidentiality

Trust and confidentiality are paramount, ensuring that clients feel safe to share openly without fear of judgment or exposure.


Coaches guide the conversation through questioning and reflection rather than giving direct advice, empowering clients to find their own solutions.


The coach demonstrates empathy, understanding, and unconditional positive regard, creating a supportive relationship that encourages personal growth.


While there is a general structure, sessions are flexible and can be adapted based on the client's needs and how the conversation evolves.
